I am passionate about being a clear and concise educator; I aim to give students a firm grasp of the most important philosophical ideas. I started teaching in 2016 as a math teacher at Hagia Sophia Classical Academy and I have loved teaching ever since.
I center my philosophy classes around simple, formalized deductive argument. When formalized arguments are not found directly in our reading, I take this as an opportunity to practice the careful formulation of arguments with students.
For particularly difficult topics, I devise in-depth handouts. Here are a few handouts I've developed:
a handout from a talk of mine, aimed at undergraduates, about discrete time and explanation;
a handout for a class on the problem of evil
accompanying handout on the Paradox of the Stone and other arguments
a handout on the problem of induction (accompanies Hume's Sceptical Doubts Concerning the Operations of the Understanding [Enquiry 4])
